Introduced in his presentation about Satellite-based Disaster Early Warning System-SADEWA and Indonesia-SRIRAMA Climate Change Information System. PSTA-LAPAN researcher, Risyanto, S.Si., M.Sc. explained about the use of Himawari-8 Satellite data and the introduction of SADEWA DSS. In detail, Risyanto conveyed the measurement method, remote sensing, the importance of satellite data and the advantages and disadvantages of using satellites. "SADEWA is a disaster early warning information system related to extreme atmospheric conditions supported by remote sensing satellites and atmospheric dynamics models". Firmly Risyanto.

PSTA-LAPAN engineer, Edy Maryadi, ST., Explained the Indonesian Climate Change Information System (SRIRAMA). "SRIRAMA is a decision support system (read: DSS) in the field of climate change. SRIRAMA provides information on climate change projections throughout Indonesia based on the simulation results of the Cubik Conformal Atmospheric Model (CCAM) climate model scenario. SRIRAMA can be used to support development activities in various sectors requires long-term climate information such as spatial management, agriculture, marine and fisheries, energy, environment and forestry ". In the second session, participants were invited to be interactive in operating SADEWA and SRIRAMA via PC and Android as well as discussing other technical problems.

On the second day (9/10) the team of the PSTA-LAPAN climate change research group carried out a field survey of the conditions of the existence of the PSTA research equipment stationed at BUTPAA Garut. There are several notes that become evaluations in the survey of the equipment that will be discussed for the climate change team at PSTA-LAPAN.

In addition to the equipment survey, the climate change research team also carried out a site survey for the next research equipment placement plan. According to Dr. Noersomadi is known that there are potential public services that can be carried out with BUTPAA Garut in the future, especially for the education of science and atmospheric technology for students and students as well as technicians in climate change R&D.
